1. What exactly is deleted
The account holds everything created during use: the conversations and the media received and sent, the Contacts, the sales pipeline, the AI agents and the material provided for them, the broadcasts, the forms and their responses, the meetings, the settings, the people invited, the connections with Meta and Google, and the history.
Deleting the account is not signing out — it is ending your presence on the platform entirely. Everyone who had access through it loses it, and no reduced version of the account remains.
If your goal is only to stop paying, disconnect a number or the calendar, or remove someone from the system, see the alternatives in sections 7 and 9 before deleting.
2. Who can delete the account
Only the account owner — the person listed as the owner of the account. Requests made by administrators or other members are not fulfilled.
This is a deliberate lock. A definitive action that erases the work of everyone using that account cannot depend on a request from any member.
Before carrying out the deletion, we confirm that the request came from the account owner.
3. If you were invited to someone else's account
Someone who joined by invitation does not delete the account: it is not theirs. What applies in your case is deactivation of your access, which the account owner or an administrator performs in Settings, on the Members page.
Once deactivated, your access ends and your sessions are revoked immediately, on every device. The records you created during use continue to belong to the account that invited you — it is that account which answers for such data, as controller.
For that reason, requests to erase personal data held inside someone else's account must be addressed to whoever controls that account. We act as processors in that situation; if the request reaches us, we forward it to the controller and provide the necessary support. Your rights are described in the Privacy Policy.
4. If you have lost access to the account
We do not delete an account at the request of someone who cannot prove ownership — and that is a protection, not a barrier: an unverified request would be exactly the route for anyone wanting to erase another person's work.
If you cannot sign in, use password recovery on the login screen. If that still does not work, open a request in the public privacy form — it requires no login precisely to serve people in that situation. Once your ownership is verified, we help restore access or proceed with the deletion request.
If the reason is the departure of the person listed as account owner, ownership can be transferred upon documentary verification that the request is legitimate, through the same form.
5. What to do before deleting
Save what you will need: export the Contacts and conversations that still matter to your operation, using the Platform's export features.
Close what is pending: scheduled broadcasts, scheduled messages and booked meetings will no longer happen through the Platform. Meetings already created in your Google Calendar remain in your calendar.
Tell whoever uses the account with you: everyone loses access when the deletion is carried out.
If you wish, disconnect the WhatsApp number and Google Calendar beforehand, as described in section 7.
6. How to request deletion
Step 1 — Open the request: the account owner opens a request through the service center, under the Privacy and LGPD category, or through the public privacy request form, which requires no login. Provide the account name and the account owner's e-mail.
Step 2 — Confirmation of ownership: we check that the request came from the account owner and, if necessary, ask for additional confirmation. The response period runs from that confirmation.
Step 3 — Execution: our team carries out the deletion and notifies the account owner when it is complete. Until it is carried out, the request can be cancelled through the same channel.
Response times are those in section 18 of the Privacy Policy.
7. Disconnecting WhatsApp and Google Calendar without deleting the account
WhatsApp: in Settings, on the Inboxes page, open the number and use Disconnect. The Platform stops sending and receiving messages through that number, pauses the automations that used it and removes the connection; if no other number in the account uses the same WhatsApp Business account, it also unsubscribes the app from it. Conversations already received remain in the account until you request deletion.
If the number is also used in the WhatsApp Business app on your phone, the link with the business platform is ended in the app itself: Settings > Account > Business platform > Disconnect. WiseData Chat's access can also be removed in your company's business account settings at Meta.
Google Calendar: in Settings, on the Google Calendar page, use Disconnect. The credential is revoked with Google, and the Platform stops checking the calendar and creating meetings in it. Meetings already created remain in your Google calendar. You can also remove access at any time in the third-party app permissions of your Google account.
8. What happens on deletion and how long the data takes to disappear
From the Platform, on execution: the account's data ceases to exist for consultation, the sessions of everyone who used the account are ended and the connections with Meta and Google are undone.
From backups, within 30 (thirty) days. Backups exist to restore operations in case of disaster and are overwritten by rotation; during that interval the data is neither accessible nor used for any purpose, and at the end of it the data is erased along with the backup.
From the records the law requires us to keep, within the periods in section 10, counted from the deletion.
9. You may not need to delete
Deletion is definitive and erases the history of the entire operation. In many cases there is a lighter path that solves the same problem.
If the goal is to stop paying: ask support to cancel the subscription. Access ends at the end of the cycle already paid for, without erasing the history right away.
If the goal is to cut costs: ask to move to a smaller plan. Changing plans does not delete data.
If the goal is to stop serving customers through a number or to stop using the calendar: disconnect WhatsApp or Google Calendar, as described in section 7.
If the goal is to remove someone from the system: deactivate that person in Settings, on the Members page. Their access ends immediately and the rest of the account stays intact.
If the goal is to solve a usage problem: talk to us through support or check the Help Center.
10. What is kept — and why
Even after deletion, a few minimal records stay with us for a limited time. This is not a copy of your account: it is information the law requires us to keep, or that protects the Platform itself.
Deletion request record: date, requester and confirmation that the request came from someone with permission — the evidence that the process was carried out correctly.
Application access logs: kept for 6 (six) months, under article 15 of the Brazilian Civil Rights Framework for the Internet.
Subscription tax documents: kept for 5 (five) years, as required by tax legislation.
All of this is done within the limits of Law 13,709/2018 (LGPD) and only for as long as necessary. Once the deadlines are met, these records are erased too. The full table is in section 15 of the Privacy Policy.
11. After deleting
Once the deletion is carried out, access stops working and there is no way to recover the account, the data or the history — not through support, not through a later request.
If one day you want to use WiseData Chat again, you will need a new account, starting from scratch. Nothing from the previous account is restored.
12. Questions and rights over your data
For questions about the process, talk to us through the service center while your account is active.
If you talked over WhatsApp with a company that uses WiseData Chat, your conversation and your record belong to that company, which is the controller of the data. To stop receiving messages, reply to the conversation with PARAR, SAIR or CANCELAR. To delete your data, ask the company directly; if the request reaches us through the form, we forward it to the company and provide the necessary support.
To exercise the rights set out in article 18 of the LGPD — access, correction, anonymization, portability or erasure of personal data — use the public privacy request form. It requires no login and stays available after the account is deleted, which is exactly when the service center stops being reachable. Response times are in section 18 of the Privacy Policy.
